| Abstract: | This case presents the growth and challenges faced by an entrepreneur. The narration is by a young member of the organization. Mr. U.N. Mehta, the founder of Torrent Group, started his career as a medical representative in a Swiss multinational company. He left this job to set-up his own enterprise. Starting with anti- rheumatic drugs, he grew from strength to strength to build a highly diversified business group. A young medical representative looks at this entrepreneur and his enterprise and raises issues for the future. |
