| dc.description.abstract | The case presents a novel approach to manage the logistics function of multi product environment. The proposed system is a version of Toyota production system in the context of the logistics functions. The central issue is inventory management. The proposed system is conceptually simple, but raises a large number of issues related to implementation. Some of the issues relate to managing efficiency from single item level to system level.
