Abstract: | This case attempts to explore the opportunities available for the Indian Railways to be a major logistics and infrastructure provider for handling the port-based traffic of Gandhidham Area. This case focuses on two of the major ports in that area, namely, Kandla and Mundra. This case examines the performance of Indian Railways in the Area for the past few years, the present situation and future development scope in terms of infrastructure and services. |
