dc.description.abstractBangalore Integrated Systems and Solutions Private Limited ((BISS) was started by a scientist in 1993. It is a technologically driven firm with active interest in developing new products for new markets. Its major product is the shock absorber testing machine used by the automobile industry. The initial years of BISS were difficult. Today, BISS is the preferred supplier for these machines in India. The case describes the intial years how it developed the product and the markets for these products. BISS is now on former footing. It has to develop new strategies and pricing policies.en
