Abstract: The case describes a school and its functioning. The school chosen has shown consistently good results and is very well-known in Madurai (a town in southern part of India). TVS is an example of a school which thinks from the perspective of the various stakeholders. It is run efficiently (borrowing from the principles of running a factory) and serves large number of students. The school has been able to do things to constantly deliver the best possible education at reasonable costs to students. It has remained relevant to the population it serves. The school has undertaken a major change initiative for self-renewal and growth. The case describes in detail all the processes and the functioning of the school.
