| Abstract: | This paper aims at providing a decision theoretic framework to tackle the problem of undertainty in lending for minor irrigation schemes. The framework is illustration with the help of two examples using data for Mahsana district in Gujarat. The framework is of general interest in dealing with uncertainties in the financing of dug wells, dug-cum-bore wells and tubewells. |
