dc.description.abstractWhile introducing the computers in an organization, there is a tendency to ignore the technical and financial considerations – often the sole concern of the decision maker – and the other organizational ramifications of computerization. This article discusses the likely impact of computerization upon some important organizational structure and power networks, management systems; staff, skilled level of the people, etc. This awareness should enhance an organizations ability to manipulate certain variables and ensure a better assimilation and utilization of computers.
