| Abstract: | Projections show that there will be an acute shortage of computer professionals over the Seventh Plan period. There is need for stepping up both the quantity and quality of education of computer professionals. The authors assess the nature of the gap between supply and demand highlighting challenges and opportunities for educationists, policy makers, and computer professionals in using computers to increase productivity of capital and software exports. |
