Abstract: | The household energy consumption accounts for nearly 50 percent of total energy consumption in the developing countries. It is primarily obtained from non-commercial sources such as firewood, animal waste, crop residues, etc. For instance these three sources constitute nearly 90 percent of the cooking fuel in India. |
