Abstract: | The Case of "Collector's Transfer" illustrates a very widespread phenomenon of what is commonly called political interference in public administration. This has now become so widespread and extensive, that unlike the sixties and the early seventies when there was a considerable hue and cry about political interference in administrative matters and when it was a subject of much discussion and debate, it is hardly ever discussed now. Everybody has come to accept it and now such political interference rarely creates any protests or is hardly a matter of public notice. |
