Abstract: | The study establishes that the investment decisions of venture capitalists in India – a developing country – are governed by the quality of its entrepreneurs. Out of the top five criteria, most frequently rated as essential, our relate to the entrepreneur’s personality, viz., integrity, urge to grow, long term vision and well through strategy to remain ahead of competition. |
