Vikalpa, January-March, 2000, 11-12en
Tunneling back into the pyramids of the past is an interesting experience. Like a beaver, an academic erects a mental sanctuary of the busy present of teaching, research, writing, consulting, and other "commitments." These leave little time or scope for experiential backtracking. But, Professor Dixit, the present Editor of Vikalpa, provided me the opportunity to do just this, and I am grateful for it.
