Abstract: | The no-subsidy Indian dairying is losing out to its heavily subsidized Western counterparts because highly distorted world dairy prices. But it has the capability to make a mark in the international market. For this to happen, the industry representative bodies must keep a watch on global subsidy trends and provide the Govt. with relevant information to present a strong case at WTO negotiations. |
