Regulation of transnational corporations: National & global interventions

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the recent trends in the policies of less developed countries towards transnational corporations and the international concerns about the operations of TNCs around the world. Recent developments in foreign private investment, the major internaitonal interventions to influence the behaviour of TNCs, and the new responses of TNCs to the changing policies and controls of host governments are among the major aspects.
