The Satyam story: many questions and a few answers

Abstract

The unfolding of the shocking Satyam fraud has brought to the fore the wide ranging implications to a multiplicity of stakeholders in the company. The need to dialogue, share, discuss, and reflect is very important at this time. This Colloquium is meant to call upon the academics, practitioners, corporate regulators, auditors, and leaders to ponder upon the lessons, if any, to be learnt. Several perspectives have been therefore invited to discuss various aspects of the Satyam fiasco and its implications for its stakeholders.
