Sensemaking and Institutionalization in Armed Conflict

Abstract

This project aims to contribute to the realm of academic and applied research. While rich theoretical data exist in the areas of sensemaking and institutionalization, very few robust empirical studies have been conducted using these concepts. This project seeks to extend the existing theoretical frameworks and examine the interrelationship between sensemaking and institutionalization in the field, that is, in the context of armed conflict situations. 'l he goal is to extend the applicability of this yet evolving field of study.
