Tapping the entrepreneurial potential of grassroots innovation
Abstract
The article discusses the author's views on the complex challenge of tapping the social entrepreneural potential in developing countries to leverage grassroots innovation. He explains that the imperative search for inclusive social and economic development has been hampered by the increasing social tensions and silence among marginal communities. The author believes that the grassroots approach to innovation needs an understanding and reconceptualization of the interface between natural, social, ethical, and intellectual capital.
