dc.description.abstractCO2 Capture and Storage (CCS) could enhance national energy security as domestic coal can remain mainstay of Indian energy system. The objectives include creating an updated national CO2 emission source data for India and transferring it to a GIS framework, mapping major CO2 storage locations in India, using secondary literature; developing estimates of latest cost components of CCS supply chain; and modelling and economic cost analysis of future energy systems with specific focus on CCS options in India.en_US
