The project aims to study a list of selected human development indicators (social and economic) of India’s states and UTs from 1970 to 2012 and determine their interrelation. The study will be based on panel data regression to find out relevance of a particular socio-economic variable for computing a particular human development indicator. The statewise list of such findings from 1970 to 2012 would help the government to identify socio-economic areas for further improvement of human development indicatorsen_US
