    Abstract
Healthcare industry in India is one of the fastest growing one and presents tremendous opportunity for entrepreneurship across the entire spectrum. The industry is projected to grow to $ 280 billion by 2020 from the current level of $ 100 B. That is an outstanding growth opportunity by any measure and therefore entrepreneurs could potentially choose any segment within the industry and there will be a definite need there. From, chronic disease management to single specialty chains, from tech platform for health services to EMR/EHR start-ups along with a range of innovative medical devices, we are seeing the entire spectrum covered with start-ups. So, while the opportunity is unprecedented and very large, the challenges in India are formidable. Any one who thought that creating an "App" will enable them to create a healthcare company has realized how wide off the mark that thinking was.
