According to a faculty member, the administration had organised two meetings. “One meeting was with faculty members as a group and the other meetings were with individual faculty members who wanted to meet the committee. Majority of the faculty opined that the institute is in need of someone with qualities to deal with challenges, with exceptional administrative skills apart from academic excellence. It was also pointed that the director needs to be an individual who can helm completion of ongoing infrastructural projects,” the faculty member said requesting anonymity. The educationists said there were other suggestions too, including the need for a director who can strategise for the institution’s growth.en_US
