Project implementation is a complex job. The entire field of project management can be broadly classified into three phases: I) project planning, II) project implementation, and III) project operation. certain amount of success has been achieved in the areas or project planning in this country through lot needs to be done. But there is hardly anything good to talk about the performance in the project implementation and the project operation phases. This has also been recognised by the government and accordingly the ministry of programme implementation was formed in 1984 to improve our performance in these areas.en_US
