It has been argued that sharing economies allow individuals and groups to make money from underused assets. In this way, physical assets are shared as services. For example, a car owner may allow someone to rent out her vehicle while she is not using it, or a house owner may rent out his home while he’s on vacation. The project will focus on sourcing deal opportunities in the emerging sector Sharing Economy which is built on the concepts of collaborative consumption relationship economy, access economy (as opposed to ownership) and peer-to- peer economy. The three key drivers of the concept have been technology (peer-to-peer social networking, innovative mobile technology, peer to peer payment systems, reduced transaction costs, etc.), social changes (increasing population density, desire for community, etc.) and economy (monetize excess or idle resources, increase avenues for revenues, influx of VC funding, etc.).en_US
