Abstract
The objective of this research is to understand the market for point of care diagnostic tools in India.On the surface level we try to understand the current level of accessibility, availability and awareness about the point of care diagnostic tools in rural market. Diving deeper we will try to understand the factors that make the consumers prefer their current method for diagnostics, apprehension or obstacles in using point of care diagnostic tools, and the preferred and trusted personnel / media for consumers while they search for medical solutions.
