dc.description.abstract | This report studies the relationship between transport aggregators (Uber and Ola) and the drivers and delves into the details from a drivers perspective. We undertook this study through mapping and analysis of Ola and Uber driver contracts; which explicitly states that their relationship with the drivers is contractual, and also limit their liabilities in case of conflicts; extensive and in-depth interviews with drivers’ and also sought and got responses from Ola and Uber authorities. Finally, a detailed review of an on-going petition is done on the case Delhi Drivers’ Union vs. Union of India [5] that has been filed before Delhi High Court. The research concludes with our views and suggestions. | en_US |
