dc.description.abstract | Dr. Vakil interviewed two people Kabir Kumar and Purav Jha. Kabir Kumar was working in the textile design department for the past four years and six months. He was leaving Texica and moving into another rival company Fabrika. After discussions about the various experiences in the organization, the consultant asked him whether was paying him more than Texica. Kabir was offered a low pay at Fabrika. He was asked the reason for leaving the organization. He had been trying to get a hike and a promotion. But even after receiving a promotion and a hike, he applied for the resignation. Dr. Vakil tried to probe further to understand the root cause. Purav Jha had worked in the Finance department of Texica Ltd for two years. He was a M. Com and was moving out of the organization to join his uncle’s business. He was responsible for documenting the vouchers. When asked about the work, he said that he found the job quite easy and doable by a clerical person. | en_US |
