Organizational Excellence

Abstract

This note discusses the idea of excellence in, and of, organizations. It looks at different types of organizational excellence as discussed in different parts of management literature, their meaning, and describes factors affecting organizational excellence. It also identifies some common ways in which organizations seek to measure or monitor excellence, for themselves and for others.
