Improving land registry in India using blockchain

Abstract

Land or Property Registration is essentially the process which governs the ownership as well as the transfer of ownership rights to the buyer in case of immovable property. It ensures that protocols are in place to facilitate the process and avoid any unlawful activities by the involved citizens. The process of land registration in India is not standardized at a national level and varies from one state to another.
