dc.description.abstractIndia was ranked a low 149 out of 196 countries in the world in RCRI1 (Realization of Children’s Rights Index) despite the tremendous amount of effort that various stakeholders including the Ministry of Women and Child Welfare, State Governments, the Supreme Court of India and the High Courts, UNICEF and other national and international organizations like ChildLine are pouring in everyday to support and resurrect the Child Protection System in the country.en_US
