dc.description.abstract | As of 2019, India is the 4th largest auto market with about 3.99 million Passenger and CV sold. Further, overall domestic sales have increased at the rate of 1.29% CAGR between FY 16 and FY 20. Rise in middle class income and young population has helped achieve this growth. Maruti Suzuki, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, is the largest player in the passenger vehicles segment with 51% market share.
