dc.description.abstractMedia bias is a common statement that is used nowadays in social media. More or less everyone knows and understands some degree or biasness prevalent in media specifically at an Indian context. Anyone who follows the politics and news even remotely has sensed some or another form of biasness in the reporting. In the paper we will analyze five major media houses and their way of reporting. It will emphasize on the role of the contemporary governments in inducing bias in the media and using it as a tool for publicity, destroying the very objective for which it was created.en_US
