dc.description.abstract | After the humble beginnings of short video sharing platforms from platforms such as Dubsmash and Tiktok, this sharing economy has grown tremendously with the addition of many new players such as MX Takatak, Josh, Moj, Roposo, etc. and the launch of short video sharing features by bigger players such as Instagram’s reels and Youtube Shorts. From increasing channel traffic to affiliate marketing, the short video platforms provide several opportunities for their users. In this project, we would first like to analyze the several business models of these platforms. Based on this analysis about the business models and their performance implications, we would recommend the models that are most likely to fare better in the current market conditions. Looking at its tremendous growth potential, we would also try to gauge the market potential of such platforms in the future. | en_US |
