They need to understand challenges and issues faced by employees inside and outside work environment. They are using C-level strategies to increase the employee engagement which is critical for the organisation’s success. The employees are working remotely and so finding WFH culture difficult. HR is introducing new policies and changes to ensure that productivity is remain same. However, it is having negative effect on the employee engagement. WFH has increased productivity at the cost of long working hours. There is constant monitoring done at the cost of invasion of privacy. The frequency of team meetings has increased and the interaction between the employees have become transactional. There is increase in the attrition rate and HR department is finding difficulty in hiring right talents. The productivity from the new employees is low.
