Application of big data analytics in electric vehicles in India
Abstract
With the rise in talks about the importance of climate change, governments have started to
find cleaner and eco-friendly ways to consume energy. In recent years, there has been a rise
in the use of electric vehicles. Electric vehicles have become integral to the sustainable steps
governments take to reduce pollution and prevent climate change. The government is
incentivizing people to purchase electric vehicles to increase the adoption rate. The
government of India aims to make Indian roads “Only Electric Vehicles” by the year 2030.
However, achieving this target might not be as easy as it seems. As the industry is in the
nascent stage, there are many challenges that the government and companies are facing.
Therefore, we will try to understand the challenges/risks associated with the industry and
suggest ways to mitigate those risks using big data.
