dc.description.abstract“The video content back then was exceedingly difficult to create, host, and stream for millions of users. Companies like YouTube were doing it successfully but even they had been a lossmaking entity in the same till 2018. This was majorly because of the high bandwidth cost associated. We were also website owners at that time, and we used to display advertisements for monetization. We developed the video player on our own and started building the streaming servers as well. We housed all those servers and made them scalable. We were doing around 3-4million visitors every day on the website and in terms of scale it was in petabytes since every video is of at least 10MB and streaming it for millions.”en_US
