dc.description.abstract	As India has depend almost exclusively on her own efforts and resources, she must not depend too much on external markets in the short run. She must economize on resources in all fronts ans channel them towards building up her R & D technology and acknowledge base strengthen agriculture. India must aggressively set standards if she has to win over world markets in the longer run to achieve higher growth rates.
