dc.description.abstract | This case describes the running of passenger trains within the Vadodara division for which the crew needs to be organized. Since passenger trains are scheduled services, crew schedules can be developed in advance and are called as crew links. Various decisions can be evaluated like impact of various rest restrictions on crew requirements, allocation of crew, coordination with neighbouring divisions, etc. An OR model can be used for this. | en |
