dc.description.abstract | This teaching note suggests a possible way of using the Pratap Mehta case for effective class discussion and learning. The case discussion may bring out the influence of self?image on appropriateness of communication in interpersonal relationships. The instructor may also introduce the concept of "Johari Window" and "Blind Self" in order to emphasize the importance of self? awareness in becoming aware of others. Finally, the case analysis could also emphasize how effective written communication requires economy, clarity and high fidelity. | en |
