Abstract

The case describes the events leading to the quitting and subsequent arrest of the CEO of ITC, Mr. K.L. Chug. It examines the events with respect to (i) ITC’‘s relationship with its British parent, BAT, and (ii) ITC’‘s systems of corporate governance.
