A Note on Data Management with MS Access
Abstract
The note gives a brief overview of MS Access and introduces it as a tool for developing data management applications on the desktop. It presents the major features of Access like tables, queries, forms, reports, macros and modules that facilitate rapid development of data management applications. Query design using design grid is illustrated through examples. These examples include single table and multi table queries and the use of select queries as well as action queries like update, and marketable queries in solving some data management problems.
