Future of India's exports: need for evolving a national export strategy

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to highlight some of the work points of our export performance and policy in the past and to make a realistic assessment of the potential contribution of aggregate exports in the economy during the next five years or so and finally to present broad contours of some of the desirable elements in the formulation of an appropriate national export policy to realise the potential contribution of exports.
