dc.description.abstract | It is recommended by both academicians and practitioners that corporations should scan the environment continuously to identify and respond to the opportunities and threats. It can be argued that given the cost and benefit considerations it is not advisable to develop a system for scanning the development in all environmental factors. So it is useful to direct scanning efforts to relevant environmental factors have to be ascertained. In the absence of such discrimination, the scanning effort could be waste. | |
