dc.description.abstract | S Ramnarayan and N Mohan Reddy's article "Institutional
Learning: The Essence of Strategic Management," Vikalpa,
January-March 1989, used the learning perspective to
evolve a framework of the strategic management process in
organizations. The authors proposed a set of guidelines for
enhancing the effectiveness of strategic initiatives in organizations.
K R S Murthy feels that a learning view o(the
strategic management process across organizations would
require a comprehensive theory of organizations and 6.
sounder empirical base than provided. The authors' concept
comes closer to the structural perspective. A longitudinal
and comprehensive study of s'irategic management
is necessary for tracking the process from an mganizationallearning
perspective to derive how one can develop
a leatning view of the strategic management process. | |
