dc.description.abstractAmal Products Ltd (APL) returned to profitability after a gap of three years. It reported a profit of Rs. 11 million at the end of the financial year 2001–02. It significantly improved the morale of people in the organization. Mr Abhijit Mukherjee, the director, was philosophic in stating: One reaps the fruits of one’s own actions in the past. We could overcome the difficult phase with our perseverance and resolve to improve.
